IKMAL organised it’s Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation (OPRC) International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Level 2 Oil Spill Response (OSR) Course from 16th to 19th July 2018 at the EVERGREEN LAUREL Hotel in Penang. 12 participants from various entities attended the Course conducted by the globally renowned Trainer, Capt Patrick Ooi. The 4-days Course included a a Site Visit to the Marine Department Northern Region’s Base at Batu Uban for the participants to sight and be briefed on the Oil Spill Equipment stored there. A lively and engaging Table Top Exercise was conducted in the afternoon of the last day and certificates of attendance were presented to the participants.
